The Exocett SS is made for big flies and heavy lines. Are you a serious streamer junkie? A unique rod taper including a stiff tip and a mid-flex profile makes the Exocett SS an incredibly versatile and caster friendly big game rod. This rod can be used for Pike and Musky in freshwater, flats fish in saltwater, and really any streamer-eating fish in between. T&T has really refined the taper of the Exocett SS to create a rod for the everyman. Streamer fishing just got a whole lot easier.
Blank
Advanced StratoTherm Resin and Natural Finish - T&T’s proprietary StratoTherm tech produces rods that are accurate and lively. The blank of the Exocett SS is light and responsive with high recovery speeds and vibration dampening characteristics. The rod blank’s power translates to high performance at longer casting distances.
Guides
Titanium Frame Stripping Guides - The Exocett SS rods have two large titanium-framed stripping guides that are strong enough to handle the heaviest sinking fly lines. The stripping guides are also corrosion-resistant and saltwater safe.
RECoil Titanium Alloy Snake Guides - RECoil snake guides bounce back when bent or crushed. Snake guides are used by many major rod manufacturers because of their lightweight, minimalist design.
Reel Seat
Milled Aluminum Reel Seat w/Double Uplocking Components - The reel seat on the Exocett SS is designed to withstand saltwater corrosion. A matte black milled aluminum design with heavy-duty double uplocking components makes the reel seat of the Exocett SS weatherproof and intensely functional. An ultra-premium cork full wells grip makes casting and fighting large fish easy and comfortable.
Rod Tube
Aluminum Rod Tube - The Exocett SS comes in a blue powder-coated aluminum rod tube that protects the rod during travel and transportation. These tubes are durable and include a T&T rod sock for increased fly rod protection.
